The 2004 BCBC Retreat and Symposium took place
Thursday and Friday, May 13th and 14th. The Executive Committee and the Internal and
External Advisory Boards met in joint session on the afternoon of May 13th. There was a
banquet of invited guests that evening. The banquet facilitated a number of discussions from members of the
research community who do not often have a chance to get together. A more formal Symposium took
place the following day with a poster session.
